Our Tiki statue’s are a fun and unique way to add that
tropical feel in your home and yard.
Tikis and tiki masks in you home or garden make great conversational pieces.
Since they are hand-carved, no two tikis are the same unless you buy one of our
concrete tikis. The history behind them comes from Polynesian culture.
Polynesians used tikis as representation of their gods. Tikis were placed
outside sacred Polynesian places.

Polynesian style tiki statue carvings are hand made, Burned and oil stained by me. Add a Tiki Statue to your home or tropical landscape. I have several inside and around my house. They really add a lot of warmth and charm, not to mention a unique conversation piece. These tiki god statues are hand carved, and no two statues are alike but can be carved to look similar. The Hawaiian-Polynesian style tiki god statues I carve are made from the trunks of very old Mexican fan Palms. It is best if they are kept out of the rain or off the bare ground, but even so, will last for years.

I make these tiki’s in my back yard. There are five original carvings which the castings are made from. The finished product is a very well done natural stone or wood looking tiki. The benefit to stone / concrete over wood (palm, hardwood) is :
· They do not fade
· They do not rot
· No insect problems
· Don’t need to be refinished
· Maintain constant weight
· Theft resistant (most thief’s are to lazy to carry a 140LB tiki)
· Wont burn
· The tikis have a wide base. They can be placed anywhere in the landscape.
Our tikis are for pure enjoyment and to add only to your tropical atmosphere. They are not objects of worship nor do we view them as such. We love the feeling they create of warmth and friendship and hope you feel the same way.
What is a tiki ?
The
first man, the divine ancestor of the Polynesians. He led his people in their
fleet to the islands of Polynesia. . Polynesia is a triangle of islands in the
Pacific Ocean. Tiki is the polynesian word for 1st image," Tiki" has
been referred to as the beginning of man, or like the god of the first man.
Since Tiki was the first ancestor, a Polynesian Adam so to speak, and god of
the artists, eventually all images depicting the human figure were termed
tikis. These effigies were created in all sizes and found applications as house
posts, tool handles and canoe prows. "Tiki" is not only close to the
first word uttered by mankind (tiki is the root meaning of the Hawaiian word
ki'I) in Polynesian mythology, it is also the synonym for the first man.
