About Me

Born and raised in Los Angeles, . Sterling had spent his early years surfing in and around L.A before finding his home in Oceanside in 1988. Sterling has traveled around the world in the search for good surfing conditions. Through his travels he has discovered the world  of tropical palms and cycads. He began collecting for his yard, this addiction grew into a nursery with many rare and exotic plants that thrive in California.  Not stopping with his palm and cycad garden Sterling began carving tikis. He didn't know when to stop. He now has more plants and tikis than any man ever needs. Take some of these unbelievable plants and tikis off his hands.
